Laboratory production
Production is carried out using the classic hot-hot process. The water and oil phases are heated separately to approx. 80 °C and then homogenised under high shear. After adding the thickener phase, the emulsion is further homogenised and cooled in a controlled manner. Temperature-sensitive active ingredients are incorporated during the cooling process to ensure maximum effectiveness.
Product properties and stability
The Microbiotic Hand Cream has a stable viscosity in the range of approx. 49,000 mPa·s and a skin-physiological pH value of approx. 5.4. Stability tests under various temperature conditions confirm very good physical stability without phase separation, sedimentation or discolouration.
