Thickener for clear gels
Cosactive Clear Thickener is a 100% natural powder blend of hydrophilic polymers for thickening clear systems.
It forms clear hydrogels that can be used for skin care and cleansing. It is possible to produce hyaluronic gels as well as systems containing surfactants, such as cleansing gels, shampoos and shower gels.
Cosactive Clear Thickener is characterised by mild skin compatibility and a luxurious feel – and is widely applicable for all personal care areas.
Processing
Cosactive Clear Thickener should be sprinkled into the hot water phase and dispersed at 70°C under high shear force.
Incorporation in cold water can lead to turbidity.
The optimum pH value should be between pH 5-9.
